generalA few weeks ago we were delighted to meet with Donnington Doorstep Family Centre who we recently provided grant funding for to help them with their Garden make over projects!
Representatives from the Foundation, Emma Jones and Lizzie Uzzell met with their Chairman and Director, John and Rita and were lucky enough to attend during one of their drop-in sessions, the Early Years project! With a child in tow, it was great to see first-hand how the drop-in sessions that the centre put on provide help and support to local families. A safe place for children to enjoy the entertainment and play areas, allowing for their parents and carers to sit back and relax whilst enjoying a coffee.
A tour of the garden and an update on their plans for the garden make over gave us a true insight into how the funding we have provided will truly transform the space, providing the local community with a safe and open space to enjoy throughout the year.
We are looking forward to the project starting and seeing the progress of the garden makeover and can’t wait to go back and see it once it is all complete! Thank you for having us Donnington Doorstep!
