Lewis Jenkins, a member of the Foundation, recently met with Jess Haynes, Digital Services Manager and Anna Hodgson, Charity Director at Clear Sky Children’s Charity, to gain further insight about the organisation and the project we are supporting.

Clear Sky Children’s Charity, founded in 2010, are leaders in Play & Creative Arts Therapy, dedicated to providing psychological support to children. Working primarily with schools across Oxfordshire and surrounding counties, Clear Sky offers both therapy sessions for children and training for school professionals. Their approach focuses on the power of play, supporting children as they navigate their early experiences and learn how to become the best versions of themselves.

We are delighted to provide funding to support five children through 18 one-to-one Play & Creative Arts Therapy sessions. Play & Creative Arts Therapy provides a safe and accepting environment where children can work through difficult emotions and experiences. Clear Sky’s qualified therapists specialise in helping children impacted by challenges such as bereavement, family breakdowns, bullying and domestic abuse.

In the past year, Clear Sky has delivered over 2,300 individual therapy sessions, reaching more than 140 children.

Thank you to Clear Sky for meeting with us and sharing insight into how our funding will support more children through their Play & Creative Arts Therapy sessions.
