Team Charlie receives funding!

Recently two of our representatives from the Foundation, Sharon Davies and Lizzie Uzzell met with Toni and Claire from Team Charlie to present them with a cheque for the project we have recently provided funding to them for.

Team Charlie has been set up in memory of Toni’s son, Charlie, who sadly passed away in 2020 following a long battle with a brain tumour. The charity has been set up to help support families who are experiencing tough times with their own child battling a brain tumour.

We are delighted to be supporting team Charlie by providing them with funding for 4 individuals with brain tumours and their families to enjoy a short break at legoland or a wildlife park providing them with the opportunity to spend some quality time together and to have some respite from the continual hospital visits being taken.

We are delighted to be able to support this excellent charity and look forward to hearing about the individual’s trips!
