New Life Special Care Babies Receives Funding!

In August, we were delighted to have awarded funding to one of our selected charities from the Spring 2023 funding round, New Life Special Care Babies. This funding supported the addition of the vCreate video technology system for one year for the Buscot Unit in The Royal Berks Hospital via BIBS (Babies in Buscot Support).

The vCreate system is a secure video messaging link that enables parents to observe their babies and keep in touch with their progress during the times they are unable to be in the hospital. The neonatal staff build up a library of videos and images and with a secure login, the parents can access the video messaging system day or night.
